Product details
Create your own glowing pottery with the Faber-Castell Neon Glow Pottery Studio! Perfect for kids ages 8+ and beginner artists, this engaging craft kit blends creativity, skill-building, and hands-on fun in one—making it a fantastic choice for kids who love imaginative projects and arts & crafts. The complete set includes a pottery wheel with a bonus mini wheel attachment, 3 pounds of natural clay, 12 bags of fluffy air dry clay, 12 neon paints, 3 tubes of glow in the dark paint, sculpting tools, sponges, brushes, cookie cutters, alphabet beads, wiggly eyes, and glowing beads in fun shapes, and more. Guided by easy-to-follow instructions, kids will learn pottery techniques such as throwing pottery on the wheel, molding by hand, and finishing pieces with colorful, glowing details. To trim and lift pieces off the wheel, simply add a little water to the base of the clay and slide the string trimming tool underneath to loosen your creation. Clay pieces must dry before decorating, and finished pottery is perfect for holding trinkets—but not for food or drinks. This mindful activity encourages focus, patience, and self-expression while helping young artists build fine motor skills and confidence. From bowls and vases to frogs, turtles, and glowing jewelry, every project is a chance to create something unique that can be proudly displayed or shared as a handmade gift. Unlike simple “paint-only” kits, the Neon Glow Pottery Wheel for Kids 8-12+ offers open-ended exploration and multiple techniques, giving kids the freedom to experiment and develop their own pottery style. More than just a kids pottery wheel kit, it doubles as a fun DIY project and a creative screen-free activity for kids at home, with friends, or during holidays. For best results, protect your work surface and wear an apron or old clothes while working. Since 1761, Faber-Castell has proudly crafted premium art supplies trusted worldwide by artists of all ages and skill levels. The Neon Glow Pottery Kit continues this tradition, giving young makers the tools and inspiration they need to explore the exciting world of pottery—making it a standout among creative craft kits for kids, while helping young artists develop fine motor skills and build.
